Sundays

At River you will find a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where everyone is treated equally. With a mix of young, old, singles, couples and families, River welcomes people from all walks of life. On Sunday before the service, you'll be welcomed at the door and given the chance to mingle and meet others in the relaxed "cafe-style" foyer. Church begins in the auditorium with a great praise and worship session led by the talented music team, followed by a message that is always real, challenging and life changing. We also value the opportunity for people to be encouraged, prayed for and ministered to in a safe and respectful way.

For kids

Children's programs for 2.5 to six years (Little Warriors) and Grade 1-7 (JAM) run during the service and there is also a supervised creche for little one aged 6 months to 2.5 years. Visitors are required to sign their children in for the program before it begins. Other members will be on hand in the foyer area to assist with this.

Coffee and chat

Following the service, people are encouraged to stay for morning tea, which is provided each week. This is an opportunity to connect with like-minded people and share stories over a tea or coffee.
